BRABUS 800
The BRABUS 800 based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC + celebrates its world premiere at the Top Marques Monaco 2019.

588 kW / 800 horsepower, a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm, 2.9 seconds from a standing start to 100 km / h. The top speed is electronically limited to 315 km / h.

Exciting look thanks to the sporty, stylish carbon aerodynamic components and high-tech forged wheels in the new BRABUS Monoblock Z “PLATINUM EDITION” ten-spoke design in an unusual combination with 21 and 22 inch diameters for the front and rear axles.

EXCITING LOOK. EXCELLENT AERODYNAMIC FUNCTION.
The enormous driving performance of the BRABUS 800 also places special demands on the aerodynamics. That is why the BRABUS designers developed visually attractive as well as aerodynamically efficient visible carbon components. They were fine-tuned in the wind tunnel and optimize driving stability at high speeds. The precisely fitting BRABUS body components are available with either a high-gloss or matt coating.

The face of the GT is accentuated even more with the combination of BRABUS front spoiler and front apron attachments for the large air intakes of the bumper. In addition, the spoiler reduces the lift on the front axle at high speeds, which further improves driving stability.

The rear section of the four-door is also styled even sportier: the carbon diffuser insert for the rear apron perfectly frames the four tailpipes of the BRABUS sports exhaust, whose titanium covers have been painted black to match the outer skin of the show car for Monaco. Visible carbon panels on the sides of the rear bumper emphasize the striking lines of the vehicle.

Another important contribution to the extravagant BRABUS look is the unusual wheel / tire combination that the chassis engineers and test drivers of the Bottrop-based company developed especially for the Mercedes-AMG GT 63. In order to emphasize the wedge shape of the four-door coupé, wheels with a diameter of 21 inches are mounted at the front, while rims of 22 inches are used on the rear axle.

HIGH-TECH FORGED WHEELS. OPTIMIZED DRIVING DYNAMICS.
On the BRABUS 800, which celebrates its world premiere at the Top Marques Monaco 2019, this variant is the first time that the new BRABUS Monoblock Z “PLATINUM EDITION” wheel design has been shown. The type designation “Z” stands for an innovative ten-spoke styling.

“PLATINUM EDITION” means that these new wheels are manufactured using a high-tech forging process and thus combine lightweight with maximum strength. The dimensions of the rims and tires are just as unusual: 10.5Jx21 wheels with 275/35 ZR 21 tires are driven in the front. Even 12Jx22 forged wheels with high-performance tires in the 335/25 ZR 22 format are used on the rear axle. The optimal tires for this extraordinary combination are supplied by BRABUS technology partners Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA.

Not only does the look of the BRABUS 800 benefit from attractive wheels, but handling is also made more agile with this king-size wheel / tire combination. An effect that can be further enhanced with the BRABUS AIRMATIC SPORT unit. The module is adapted to the air suspension in plug-and-play technology and lowers the four-door coupé in the two driving modes “Comfort” and “Sport” by approx. 25 millimeters.

POWER SOUND. BRABUS MAKES MORE OUT OF IT
The four-liter V8 biturbo engine of the GT 63 S is upgraded by the BRABUS engine engineers with the sophisticated BRABUS PowerXtra B40S-800 Performance Upgrade. The changes to the engine hardware affect the turbo system: Two newly configured BRABUS high-performance turbochargers, which in addition to a larger compressor unit also have a modified fuselage group with reinforced axial bearings, produce a maximum boost pressure of 1.6 bar.

In order to re-calibrate the electronic boost pressure control and further optimize the performance without impairing the stability, the MAPS OF the electronic engine management had to be reprogrammed. For this purpose, extensive tests were carried out on the latest generation of stationary engine test benches. In parallel, driving tests were carried out on the race track and in traffic. The new control software is fed in via the BRABUS PowerXtra additional control unit, which is adapted to the engine electronics using plug & play technology.

This results in a performance increase of 118 kW / 161 hp and a torque increase of 100 Nm. With 588 kW / 800 hp at 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm at only 3,600 tours, the four-door coupé is one of the most powerful representatives of its type.

BRABUS garnishes the unique high-performance experience with an acoustic treat: the stainless steel sports exhaust system, which is available for all GT 63 variants and is also performance-optimizing due to the reduction in exhaust gas back pressure, offers a variable sound thanks to its integrated exhaust flaps: the V8 can optionally be emphasized can be driven discreetly in the quiet “Coming Home” mode or in the “Sport” position, which elicits an extra powerful V8 sound from the engine. Thanks to its titanium / carbon tailpipes with a diameter of 90 millimeters, the BRABUS exhaust system is also an absolute visual delight.

INTERIOR. MAXIMUM FOLD. MASTERFUL QUALITY.
Another specialty of BRABUS is the exclusive interior finishing. In the in-house upholstery shop, the finest leather and Alcantara are processed into interior fittings under the “BRABUS fine leather” label, which fulfill even the most individual wishes of each customer. The variety of colors and upholstery designs is practically limitless. In addition, precious wood or real carbon inlays can be made to measure in a wide variety of colors and designs.

The BRABUS 800 premiere supercar at the Top Marques Monaco 2019 has exclusive BRABUS fine leather seats that are covered with perforated black leather and visually contrasted with white leather elements. The elegant interior not only impresses with its choice of colors, but also with the precise white decorative stitching. Alcantara inserts on the seat bolsters optimize lateral support for a sporty driving style.

Stainless steel door sills with the illuminated BRABUS logo, which changes its color in line with the ambient lighting of the interior, round off the elegant interior design. The high performance claim of the BRABUS supercar is complemented by sporty cockpit features such as BRABUS door pins and aluminum pedals.
